Solar for Future is the project of some committed members of the international climate movement and was founded to promote the expansion of renewable energies. To this end, people are informed about the topic directly on site, which is why there will be both information events and individual consultations.

In order to implement the project, it is necessary to find committed members in as many places in the EU as possible who are willing to set up, organize and lead an advisory group in their area. What else is there to know about the Solar for Future organization?

Unlike purely commercial energy consultancies, we at Solar for Future work on a voluntary basis, although we are of course happy to receive donations, which support our work. We usually also receive a small commission when we broker the systems, but this is of course not added to the system price.

Why did we think it made sense to set up an independent energy consultancy?

The expansion of photovoltaics is mainly being implemented by private individuals or small companies. In recent years, the prices of systems have fallen massively and there are also funding opportunities, which has led to the establishment of numerous companies specializing in the sale and installation of solar systems.

But how do private individuals know which of the countless providers is reputable, installs high-quality components, takes care of the approvals and can carry out repairs or extensions to the system even years later?

Unfortunately, dubious advice that is only concerned with selling an investment as quickly as possible, preferably online, is often the order of the day!

Solar for Future wants to act as an independent monitoring body here, so that there is no frustration when buying and after the system has been installed, because only those who are satisfied will ultimately recommend a PV system to their circle of friends. After all, our goal is to implement the energy transition as quickly as possible, and this requires as many people as possible to join in!
